Wouldn’t it be great if we could go to the store, purchase a six-pack of Living Water in the new 12 ounce size, pass them out to some friends who don’t have faith in Christ, and have them come to salvation when they take their first drink?
But of course, that isn’t God’s plan. The faith we so earnestly want our family and friends to receive “…comes from hearing the message, and the message is heard through the word of Christ.” Romans 10:17
People often hear because a Christian, like you or me, shares the message of salvation. This sharing process does not always come naturally and over 2,000 years ago, Jesus established a plan that is the foundation of the Eleven 12 Project. He appointed and empowered evangelists, along with others in the church, “to prepare God’s people for works of service, so that the body of Christ may be built up…” (Ephesians 4:11-12)
To fulfill our role of preparing Christians to share their faith, The Eleven 12 Project will feature articles to encourage evangelism efforts, training tools for sharing the gospel, information about upcoming Christian conferences promoting spiritual growth, Ministry Partners that can assist in the equipping, and much more.
You’re not at the same place spiritually as our next visitor and although God knows where that place is, we don’t. So, we’ll trust him to convey the piece of wisdom he wants you to have regarding the gospel. It might be contained in one of our posts or received through the answer to a question you ask us. It might not even be found on these pages. Exciting, huh?
